E-Learning
It is sometimes quicker,
easier or more convenient to complete a module in the comfort of your
own desk - either at work or at home. Before you dismiss it, give it
a try. You may be pleasantly surprised.
The Core Learning Unit (offshoot of the now defunct NHSU) has produced
a number of statutory and mandatory modules that you can complete anywhere,
at any time.
More modules are being added all the time, but here is a selection that
you can try now:
• Infection Control
• Fire Safety Awareness
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Manual Handling
• Child Protection
• Respect for People
• Welcoming Disabled People - disability Awareness
Each unit allows you to print a certificate once you have successfully
completed the assessment.
Even better - the units are free (The SHA has agreed to fund them for
at least the next three years).
